The Dirtybird produced Song would offer the perfect way to end the Prodigal Son collection. It's both an apology for not being the hopeless romantic of his past, while honoring the other perhaps more consistent and tangible ways that love can show up: namely just being there. The Iconograhy project was released as Tim'm was experiencing a breakup and this no doubt impacted the delivery of the project and his ability to promote it. Still, "Song" consistently emerges as the selection that best resonates with audiences. If the collection's "Lullaby" is a call for a lullaby, "Song" is Tim'm's effort to create his own.
